Under the guidance of Dr. Sheheryar Jovindah

A slow learner is a child with below-average intelligence, whose thinking skills have developed significantly slower than considered the norm for his/her age. This child will go through the same basic developmental stages as other children, but at a significantly slower rate.

We plan to help such students by developing Individualized Intervention Plans to help their parents and teachers in adapting appropriate teaching strategies to ensure the maximum growth of these children. This may include offering training to the Special Needs Teachers to equip them with better teaching skills and implementation of  lesson plans.

Another area of focus will be dealing with the problems these children face at a psychological level. Issues that they might be facing include underachievement, low self esteem, social withdrawal, poor play skills and depression.
