The therapist is there to help the client through the therapeutic process, with a commitment to the client's confidentiality and trust. The therapist is there to serve the clients, assist them in talking about and coping with emotional and mental problems, with the deepest sense of understanding and concern for them.
Therapy offers a safe space for individuals to talk about on-going or past difficulties, or future apprehensions in life. The therapist is there to listen, to understand and offer a range of psycho-therapeutic techniques that can help the client better deal with emotional and behavioral problems allowing him/her to improve daily functioning.
